Francis Joseph Shoemaker

  General Notes:

My Grandfather Shoemaker told me he worked at the sanitorium in
Markleton, the one used for TB patients. And the reason Katherine Nolan
probably died in Philadelphia is because my Grandmother Katharine and her
mother Grandma Annie Nollenburger lived in Philadelphia at some point in
their life. In a place called Upper Darby. (from Mom)

Notes from Vicki Royer:
He was a big man, heavy and he could be very stearn at times. He loved to go fishing. We called him Pop Pop and I'm sure your mom has told you some stories! As long as I can remember he worked in constructing roadways & bridges.

Francis married Twilight Rita Gaster, daughter of William Rilery Gaster and EmmaGene Giles, in 1917. (Twilight Rita Gaster was born on 23 Apr 1895 and died on 24 Feb 1971 in Ebensburg, PA.)
